Why we started this blog
Hong Kong has more pet-friendly restaurants than it used to, but the phrase still covers a lot of ground. One restaurant will bring your dog a water bowl and a seat by the window. Another allows dogs at a single table on the pavement, weather permitting. Plenty of others say nothing at all until you turn up with a lead in your hand. We started PawTable because we kept guessing wrong. Now we check the restaurants ourselves before they go on the list.

Policies change faster than signage. We re-check the venues we list, but if you're bringing a large dog or a group, a quick call ahead still saves a wasted trip.
