Coffee on the Sand

A cozy Turkish cafe tucked away in a Ma Wan village house, filled with colorful mosaic lamps and hand-painted murals that create an authentic Middle Eastern atmosphere. The menu features traditional dishes like烤雞飯 (roasted chicken rice), handmade beef dumplings, and thin-crust lamb pizzas. A highlight is the interactive Turkish sand coffee workshop, where guests learn to brew coffee over hot sand while wearing traditional costumes. The cafe also houses resident cat and dog mascots, and dogs are welcome to sit inside on the floor. The space is compact but charming, with plenty of photo-worthy corners.
