The Shack Cafe (Tai Wai)

A three-storey village house cafe tucked away in a quiet corner of Tai Wai, with a warm wooden interior and a relaxed, homely feel. The ground floor houses the kitchen and a few outdoor tables, while the first and second floors offer indoor seating, including a tatami-style area on the top floor. The menu focuses on light bites like croissants, wraps, croffles, and pasta, alongside coffee and specialty drinks. A resident Samoyed often wanders between floors, greeting guests and adding to the cafe's laid-back charm. The space is compact but cosy, with natural light and a small book corner.
